All eligible participants will receive a Masa Israel grant and/or Masa Israel needs based scholarship.  Please visit www.masaisrael.org to apply for a grant and/or scholarship.
 
All programs listed include housing and Hebrew ulpan (intensive language classes) unless otherwise noted below. Program costs do not include board (meals) or airfare to and from Israel unless noted below. Please consult with the individual program organizer’s website for specific information about what is included in each program’s cost.
 
 
 
Career Israel
Duration: 5 months
Start/End Dates: September – January (Fall); February – June (Spring)
Program Cost: $5,800                        Estimated Masa Israel Universal Grant: $3,000*
Career Israel offers professional internship placements in leading companies and organizations in the private and public sectors in Israel. Internship opportunities are available in a number of fields, including (but not limited to) law, medicine, advertising and public relations, hi-tech, education, social work, engineering, hotel management and computer science. Participants take part in a three-week Hebrew study course (Ulpan) that enables them to interact in Israeli society and succeed in their internships.

Free Eilat Hotel Internship (Oranim)
Duration: 5 months
Start/End Dates: Rolling
Program Cost: $3,000                Estimated Masa Israel Universal Grant: $3,000*
The Free Eilat Hotel Experience is an academic and professional internship program that prepares young adults for an exciting career in the hotel and hospitality industry. The program focuses on Hebrew and cultural studies, followed by a professional, hands-on hotel internship experience and in-class learning from Ben Gurion University. Coursework includes housekeeping management, food and beverage, hotel and tourism industry, service and hospitality, human resources, and front desk management.
  
 
Israel Government Fellows
Duration: 10 months
Start/End Dates: September - June
Program Cost: $11,000**                      Estimated Masa Israel Universal Grant: $4,500*
The Israel Government Fellowship offers outstanding young individuals the opportunity to intern in Israel’s government. Placements include key positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Justice, the Office of the Prime Minister and more. In addition to interning in a government office, fellows attend seminars led by influential figures in the Israeli public and private sectors. New Jewish Diplomacy & Governance track offers young future leaders to work with leading figures involved in the Jewish world. In addition, it provides an educational program of seminars and talks by high-profile political figures.

LIFE – Social Justice Fellowship
in Israel and India
Duration: 9 months
Start/End Dates: October - July
Program Cost: $15,000                     Estimated Masa Israel Universal Grant: $3,000*
LIFE is a service-learning program for social sector leadership development that begins with one month of training and learning in Israel and continues with professional internship, learning and cross-cultural immersion in India. Participants return to Israel for a second internship and learning period of similar length. LIFE partners with leading agencies in areas like children and refugees rights, women’s empowerment, health and education for the poor, microfinance and the environment.
**Applicants accepted to LIFE before March 31, 2010 receive a US $1,000 refund on their return airfare to Israel**
 
 
 
Real Life Israel
Duration: 5 Months
Start/End Dates: September - January

Real Life Israel is the Jerusalem-based immersion program designed to give you the most authentic impression of real life in Israel. The program is essential for anyone who plans on living in Israel or for individuals who want to immerse themselves in Israeli society for personal or professional benefit. Real Life Israel includes a professional internship, meaningful volunteer placements, Israeli life skills training and trips throughout Israel.
 
 
 
Tel Aviv Internship Experience
(Oranim)
 Duration: 5 months
Start/End Dates: Rolling
Program Cost: $7,200                        Estimated Masa Israel Universal Grant: $3,000*
Oranim’s Tel Aviv Internship Experience offers participants the opportunity to pursue a professional internship that best suits their interests and skills while connecting them with their Jewish heritage and helping them improve their Hebrew language skills. Volunteering is another critical dimension of the Tel Aviv Internship Experience – interns take pride in giving back to the community while they enhance their resumes.
 
 
 
WUJS Intern Jerusalem or Tel Aviv
Duration: 5 months
Start/End Dates: September – February (Fall); March – August (Spring)
Program Cost: $7,600                        Estimated Masa Israel Universal Grant: $3,000*
WUJS Israel Hadassah’s Intern Jerusalem/Tel-Aviv programs combine a professional internship with the additional benefits of a regular Hebrew language (Ulpan) course, weekly field trips, overnight hikes, and meetings with Israeli peers. Participants live in apartments in the trendy neighborhoods of Jerusalem or southern Tel-Aviv and intern in almost any area of industry and commerce, public and private sector, art and culture, hi-tech, politics and more.
